Regional Medal Finals at Muir of Ord |
|
Twenty four ladies from as far afield as Buchanan Castle and Whitekirk enjoyed calm conditions for the North Division SLGA Regional Medal Final at Muir of Ord Golf Club today (Monday 2 August). Both entrants from nearby Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club made good use of their 'local' knowledge with Maureen Ross winning the Silver section with a nett 69 and Maureen Small finishing second in the Bronze section. Maureen Ross is unavailable for the Grand final at Crieff Golf Club on 5 September and so Jennifer Lunn from Buchanan Castle and Maria Dunn from Aboyne both qualify with nett scores of 71. Allie Carslaw (Whitekirk) won the Bronze section from Maureen Small on the better back nine. Both ladies had nett scores of 74.
